Ciao from Italy! The first couple months of New York life were every bit a wonderful whirlwind…from dreamy road trips to Connecticut and The Hamptons to spending precious time exploring different Manhattan neighborhoods and falling in love with Brooklyn life, the decision to make this city a base for half my time is proving to be one of the exciting chapters of my life. New York City is truly the crossroads of the world, and I don’t think there will be a day where I ever get enough…but then, there is Italy.
As the one year anniversary of Modern Jetsetter approaches, I’ve been working fervently behind the scenes to make sure by the time that date rolls around, this blog’s mission and editorial niche is deep, evergreen and true to what it means to live the international lifestyle.
Traveling the world is a lifetime affair, but creating a life on two continents is something I’m so excited to officially start splitting my life between NYC and Italy with global splashes of adventure in between – that means the best of the New York City and Italian lifestyles, one adventure at a time.
I’ll be in Italy until the end of the month and will spend the summer exploring the best small-town coastal experiences in the United States and sharing in-depth neighborhood guides to New York City. I’ll then return to Italy in late summer for more Italian adventures – region by region – and to finish my first novel. D and I will also begin the long hunt for Italian real estate…let the fun begin.
The blog will be developing in thrilling ways over the next several months with several projects launching, a website redesign, newsletter launch, e-books and working with amazing new brands, buisnesses and sponsors… I just want to say how thankful I am to you, my readers, who make every adventure so very rich. The Modern Jetsetter is growing in exciting ways with a new momentum that always has me on my feet. From city guides and travel to entertaining and travel style, I’ll continue to handpick only the best inspiration that celebrates what it means to live an international life.
A presto xx
